A full partner and interventional cardiologist, Dr. Aasar joined Heart Partners of Indiana in 2006. Dr. Aasar is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Interventional Cardiology and Peripheral Vascular Intervention. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Aasar currently serves as Director of Outpatient Services for Heart Partners.

He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, a Clinical Fellow of the American Heart Association and is a past associate director of the Indiana University School of Medicine Electrophysiology Laboratory. Dr. Klein currently serves as Director of Electrophysiology for Heart Partners.
